Career Opportunity

Inoue Public Relations is seeking a proactive, high-energy native English speaker to join our Account Services team in the role of International Coordinator. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and possesses the interpersonal agility to navigate a multicultural workspace. The successful candidate will act as a vital bridge between our global clientele and our domestic teams, ensuring seamless communication and the delivery of high-impact PR strategies.

Daily work includes

  • Communications with the English-speaking PR contact of overseas clients
  • Preparing PR plans (e.g., for press events)
  • Preparing proposals or rewriting/editing English-language proposals
  • Preparing Briefing Notes used at interviews or press events where the spokesperson is an English-speaking foreigner
  • Rewriting/brushing up English prepared by Japanese staff
  • Attending all client meetings and teleconferences when the client is an English speaker, often acting as the main speaker on behalf of the team on those occasions, as well as joining potential new business meetings
  • Corresponding with prospective clients
  • Headline translation/proofing, creating Japanese article summaries

Requirements

This a very hands-on position and whoever is hired will play an important role in the company. Resourcefulness, a positive attitude and a willingness to wear a number of different hats are required.

Must

  • Native Speaker of English
  • 3 years or more working experience
  • PC skills 
  • Comfortable in communicating with Japanese colleagues
  • University degree
